Biography
Gennifer Deri (1991) lives and works in Italy. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara with Gianni Dessì's chair of painting presenting a first thesis on kinetic and programmed art, and a subsequent one on Art and Feminism, both accompanied by a photographic project. From the outset, the artist has been interested in readings of neuroscience, quantum physics, the relationship between the real and the virtual, conducting an artistic research where, thanks to an experimental use of the photographic medium and particular algorithmic software, he reflects on the possibility of provide a new vision of image and space, in which the observer can immerse himself and thus begin to resignify himself by questioning himself and the perceptive habit with which he is used to seeing reality. The latter understood as the product of the interrelationship between a transmitting entity in the external space and a receiving entity in the internal space-body.

– Con-Tatto Bi-personal exhibition with the artist Michele Pardini of the Con-tatto project, created in memory of the natural catastrophe that devastated a large part of Versilia. The two artists have developed multimedia environments and installations, an itinerant journey through the four municipalities of historic Versilia: Pietrasanta, Forte dei Marmi, Seravezza and Cardoso di Stazzema. Presentation of the 2022 catalog at the Palazzo del Pegaso, headquarters of the Tuscany Region in Florence.
