Biography

Françoise de Felice, of Italian descent from a French father and mother, was born in Paris where she spent her first 20 years. As a young man she was introduced to graphic art by her grandmother who had attended an advertising seminar at the time of the Chat Noir, adjacent to that of Fernand Léger. At the same time as the Sorbonne, she attended the Fine Arts as a free auditor. Françoise first approached the essential stage of Impressionism which declined in all its forms until 1982. She had to build her own personality, get off the beaten track, create her signature . Aided by the splendor of Sicilian Baroque and the light of the island, she began to play between almost liquid fades and a thin but precise line. The style, his style, comes from chance and desire united. He makes his painting an introspective story, a way of self-analysis.
