Biography
Born in Genoa in 1964.
Already at a very young age, since his time at the linguistic high school, the artist used to go to the workshop of the painter Adriano De Laurentis,
She took a course in posing, nudes, and figure painting at his studio in Chiavari, where she fully mastered his teachings over the course of five years. In the summer, she attended a course in nudes and figure painting taught by the painter Giovanni Job in Sestri Levante at the CALA Fieschi cultural club.
Although he comes from the rigour of drawing, from the resumption of formal and aesthetic reality, from the obsessive and obsessive exercise of precision, and precisely because of this, when in 1985 he arrived at the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara (MS) he chose to attend the course of the painter Giorgio Ulivi.
During her studies, Gasparini came into contact with what she had previously lacked: the material of color, the broad, rough texture, instinctive speed, the scratched and violated canvas, the thick, greasy texture left by the palette knife, the dance before the canvas. In Carrara, she won a scholarship that led her to work at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. Furthermore, chosen by the academic board, she represented the Academy of Fine Arts of Carrara, painting section, at the sixth National Exhibition of Contemporary Art in Bari.
Today Gasparini boasts a curriculum consisting of numerous solo exhibitions, which have taken place both in Italy and abroad, in collaboration with important galleries.
